Website Designer
Summary: Website Designer with a solid understanding of UI/UX principles and processes. In this position, you will work with various teams across the organization to solve problems and create memorable, engaging experiences. You will also contribute to a wide range of projects and participate in all stages of design, from concept to development, implementation, and maintenance.
Work Hours: Monday to Friday from 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM.
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities:
- Participate in various design projects from concept to completion
- Provide responsive design solutions to help build optimal user experience
- Continually improve, update, and maintain existing web pages, with a focus on user-ceneted design when applicable
- Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes from initial concepts to final web-ready assets for developer handoff
- Understand the project requirements and concepts
- Pitch and defend creative ideas and web solutions
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and leadership to ensure the implementation of their ideas
- Implement feedback from other designers and team members to improve design and user experience
Additionally the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements:
- Proficiency with Creative Cloud (e.g. XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator) displayed via online portfolio
- Understanding UX/customer journey principles and user-centered design processes
- Experience working on projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to adapt to new and challenging situations
- Ability to work well independently or within a team
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design or a related field is preferred. Candidates who have completed a bootcamp or course(s) in User Experience (UX/UI) are also encouraged to apply
- 1-3 years of graphic/web design experience proven via online portfolio is a requirement, having examples with a focus on UI/UX projects is strongly recommended
- Demonstrated aptitude for creative problem solving is a plus
- Experience using Figma is a plus
