Team Leader
SUMMARY: The Sales Team Leader is directly responsible for overseeing all aspects of team management such as the preparation and execution of sales and marketing strategies, long term growth planning and communication of yearly goals to the department.
Work Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, and two Saturdays from 9:00 am-1:00 pm.
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities:
- Increase revenue from established customers, and generate additional revenue from new customers by using proper sales techniques, problem solving skills and account management.
- Establish goals and objectives as they relate to the position, along with a plan of action to attain or exceed set goals.
- Daily management of their particular team.
- Manage accounts receivable for the entire team.
- Manage all key customers in their region and continue to grow both sales and their overall team.
- Responsible for promotion of MSI’s entire line of products.
- Oversee all aspects of Team Management such as preparing and executing sales and marketing strategies.
- Prepare sales reports and set up sales programs.
- Train employees and conduct seminars for customers.
- Increase market share in their assigned territory by further penetrating existing channels as well as building new channels including builders, kitchens, and baths.
- Execute new and existing programs with new and existing customers.
- Continue to market the MSI brand name.
- In charge of training, hiring, and conducting separation of employees.
- Perform additional duties as required and or requested.
Additionally the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B. A.) or equivalent from a four-year college or university.
- Six years related job experience.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area, and volume.
- Ability to multitask within the work area – inter team and intra team.
- Ability to determine solutions for customers.
- Must be results-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office – Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Be goal oriented; able to establish goals, and monitor progress against set goals.
- Be highly skilled in the process of selling, and constantly strive for improvement.
