Operations Manager
Summary: The Operations Project Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and completion of projects, supporting and leading the work of multiple teams withing the organization, and ensuring all project deliverables are met. This role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and communicating with stakeholders to drive progress and address risks and inefficiencies within current operational processes. This role provides a pathway to future leadership opportunities within the operations team.
Work Hours : Monay to Friday from 7:00am to 5:00pm and 2 Saturday in a month

- Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation for successful execution.
- Team Management: Lead project teams, including assigning tasks, providing direction, and ensuring accountability for results. Operate as a thoughtful leader which a high level of curiosity. Take an active role in leading warehouse operations to support the large scale team when required.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders, including regular updates on project progress, risks, and any adjustments to plans.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address any issues that arise to keep the project on track.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor project progress against KPIs, ensuring goals such as deadlines, and quality standards are met. Deliver clear and compelling project updates through presentations to internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Process Optimization: Implement process improvements throughout the project lifecycle to drive efficiency, productivity, and cost savings. Improve existing operational workflows, identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with operations, logistics, IT, and other internal teams to ensure project objectives align with business needs. Facilitate effective communication across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Reporting: Provide regular project reports, including updates on milestones, risks, issues, and resource utilization to senior management. Translate complex data and details into easily understandable terms for diverse audiences. Manage daily/weekly/monthly reporting on project status and team performance.
- Leadership Development: Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and leadership development to progress team members withing the organization.
Additionally the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, Operations, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of leadership or project management experience in an operational or logistics setting.
- Proven ability to manage project teams of 15+ members.
- Strong experience with distribution center or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, including MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Demonstrated ability to lead process improvements and operational changes.
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for various audiences.
- Experience facilitation meeting, guiding discussions, and managing conflict to achieve project alignment and consensus. Possess the ability to confidently present project updates, findings, and recommendations to diverse stakeholder in a clear, engaging, and professional manner.
